This policy explains what information Sports Sitters NJ collects through this website, how we use it, and your choices.

What we collect

  • Booking and contact forms: parent or guardian name, email, phone, address or session location, your child's first name and age, the sport and service you choose, and any notes you add, such as allergies or special needs.
  • Event sign-ups: the details you enter in our Google Form.
  • Payments: processed by Stripe or Venmo. We receive the order details, such as your name, email, shipping address, and what you bought. We do not receive or store your full card number.
  • Technical data: like most websites, our hosting and font and icon providers may see your IP address and browser details when a page loads.

Children's information

Our website is meant for parents and guardians. We collect information about children only from their parent or guardian, and only what we need to run a safe session, such as first name, age, and relevant health or safety notes. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

How we use it

  • To schedule, confirm, and run sessions and events.
  • To contact you about your booking or order.
  • To process payments and ship products.
  • To keep children safe and improve our services.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. We share it only with services that help us run the business, and only what they need:

  • Formspree: delivers booking and contact form messages to us by email.
  • Google (Forms, Gmail, Fonts): event sign-ups and email.
  • Stripe and Venmo: payments.
  • Netlify: hosts our website.
  • Shipping carriers: for store orders.

We may also share information if required by law or to protect someone's safety.

Photos

We may post photos and video from sessions and events. See our Terms of Service for how to opt out.

How long we keep it

We keep booking and order records only as long as we need them for business, legal, and tax purposes, and then delete them.

Your choices

You can ask us to see, correct, or delete the information we have about you or your child at any time. Email SportsSittersNJ@gmail.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Security

We use reputable services and limit who can see your information, but no method of sending data over the internet is completely secure.
