Booking is simple — just head to our Book a Session page, fill out the form with your details, and submit. We'll confirm your sitter within 1 hour. You can also text or call us at (917) 733-3154 and we'll book it for you.
We're based in Cranford, NJ and serve the surrounding Union County communities — including Westfield, Clark, Garwood, Kenilworth, and nearby towns. Not sure if you're in our area? Just reach out and ask!
No — Sports Sitters NJ is not a drop-off service. A sitter comes directly to your home, backyard, driveway, or a local park of your choosing. You stay close by while your kids get active sports mentorship right at your door.
We primarily work with kids ages 6+, which is the ideal range for learning foundational sports skills through fun and play. We may be able to accommodate ages slightly outside this range — just mention it when you reach out.
We recommend booking at least 24 hours in advance to guarantee your spot. For tournaments and events, 48 hours ahead is best. Text us at (917) 733-3154 and we'll do our best to accommodate your schedule.
Cancellations made 24+ hours before the session receive a full refund. Cancellations within 24 hours receive a 50% refund. No-shows are non-refundable. We understand things happen — if you have an emergency, contact us and we'll work something out.
You'll receive an SMS when the sitter arrives, and optional photo updates every 30 minutes. If anything comes up, your sitter will call you immediately. You can also turn on a 24-hour reminder notification when you book.
Yes! If your child clicked with a particular sitter, you can request them by name when booking. We'll always try to accommodate repeat requests, subject to their availability.
