Our commitment

Sports Sitters NJ wants every family to be able to use our website, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, magnification, voice control, or other assistive technology. We work to make this site meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.

What we have done

A "Skip to main content" link at the top of every page.
Full keyboard access to menus, forms, and booking options, with visible focus outlines.
Text and button colors chosen to meet minimum contrast ratios.
Text descriptions (alt text) for photos and flyers.
Labeled form fields and screen reader announcements for the booking options and counters.
Reduced motion for visitors whose device is set to limit animation.
Pages that adjust to different screen sizes and zoom levels.

Known limitations

Flyers and graphics: some event flyers are images that contain dates, prices, and other details. We provide a text description, and we will give you the full details by phone or email on request.
Third-party services: sign-up forms (Google Forms) and online payments (Stripe) are run by those companies and open on their own pages. We do not control their accessibility, though both make accessibility a priority.
Ongoing work: this site was reviewed by our own testing, not by an outside accessibility auditor, so some issues may remain. We keep improving it.
